The APA office began an assessment library in 2007 and it currently includes a sizable number of sources on assessment best practices. Topics covered include a variety of areas such as how to guides and research in assessment. There are also resources on discipline specific assessment. The library is expanding to eventually include videos, tutorials, and research based articles on assessment and accountability. Books and resources can be checked out for a month at a time, and are renewable depending on availability.
You are more than welcome to borrow a book at any time. We will keep an excel sheet of your name and information. You may keep the book for a period of three months. We then send you a reminder, at which point you can either request an extension or return it to our office. We are continually acquiring new materials, so please check back often. Also, if there is a book you are interested in, please let us know and we may be able to purchase it for our library and the university's use.
